Third Party Liability Release is Not Contrary to Public Policy
In a case of first impression, the Pennsylvania Superior Court in Bowman v. Sunoco, Inc., 986 A.2d 883 (Pa. Super. 2009) (Opinion by Stephens, J.), found no public policy violation in enforcing a third party release of liability and affirmed the dismissal of a personal injury case against a landowner.
