Dear valued PADC Members and Sponsors:

Congratulations! As the fifth woman and Immediate Past President of PADC it is with great pride in the 2019-2020 Officers, Executive Committee, Executive Director, PADC Members and Sponsors that I announce that PADC is the recipient of the very prestigious Defense Research Institute (“DRI”) Rudolph A. Janata Award! The Rudolph A. Janata Award is given to a state or local defense organization that has undertaken an innovative or unique program contributing to the goals and objectives of the organized defense bar. Please see the DRI Award letter, below!

DRI will honor PADC at the DRI Virtual Annual Meeting October 21-23, 2020 and the award will be presented at the DRI 2021 Summit taking place in Spring 2021. More details to follow! We hope to see many PADC members and sponsors at these events to share in PADC’s honor of receiving this national award!

As many of you know, DRI is the largest international membership organization with a listed membership of 22,000 attorneys defending the interests of businesses and individuals in civil litigation. We are thrilled that DRI selected PADC out of the 65 SLDOs like PADC across the country.

PADC was recognized for its enterprising spirit due to your collaboration, energy, dedication, creativity, focused advocacy, and resiliency as we demonstrated our unwavering PADC quest to be the best regionally based defense organization.

PADC truly is an outstanding defense bar organization every year and has been for the past 73 years. Thank you to PADC’s members and sponsors for your continued support of our organization.

With kind regards,
Harriet Anderson
