Over the past decade, we have seen U.S. Supreme Court decisions redefining the scope of personal jurisdiction, the passage of the Pennsylvania Fair Share Act providing new limits on joint and several liability, and the demise of the Azzarello strict liability scheme in favor of Tincher’s practical approach. While these developments have had an undeniable impact on product liability litigation, fundamental questions persist on their interpretation and real-world implications in any given lawsuit.
